What to Expect

This camp is for 13-18 teenagers. Campers will visit King Mountain in Wolf Creek area for an overnight mountain top experience. All camp leaders and youth will drive to the location. Campers will pack light with a backpack of their own.
Basics allowed will include a sleeping bag or hammock (if preferred *bring rope as trees are far apart) extra blanket, pillow, a change of clothes and necessary hygiene items. Campers will have freeze dried meals, power bars, water to pack for overnight. They will continue their fun with evening entertainment, chapel under the stars and counting stars before bed. The following morning they will hike approx 8 miles. Sleeping bags and extras will go back down the mountain with some of the leaders who prepare lunch for their arrival back at Living Springs. Guided by Jeremy Kirkland, our amazing camp host.

This hike is easy-medium difficulty.

Special Note

Summer Camp is an "unplugged camp" from cell phones and devices. We won't ask for phones to be turned in unless it is distracting campers or isolating them. We realize they are handy for taking pictures and bible app, but other than this, we discourage video games and playing while at camp. Please prepare your camper(s) and let them know. *Van pick up at VCF at 9:10am leaving 9:30am

Arrival time by 10am

Please print off this permission slip and fill it out. Bring this signed slip for us when kids show up before getting on the bus.
